The National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA) Approved Nursing Certification Programs

The NCCA was created by the Institute for Credentialing Excellence (ICE). Standards for accreditation of approved programs were the first developed in the mid-1970s within the credentialing industry.

To ensure the health, welfare, and safety of the public, the NCCA accredits credentialing programs that meet these standards for a wide range of professions.
